Open File Explorer using Windows + E keys

Hello Everyone.
After the release of Windows 10 Technical Preview, many people have been using it. Me too!! As this is a preview, there happens to be many bugs in this OS. That’s why Microsoft has introduced the Windows Insider Program to get feedbacks about those bugs right from the consumers. Among all the bugs & problems, there are few problems that are being misinterpreted by users as bugs. One of them is Opening File Explorer using Windows + E keyboard shortcut. Even I faced the problem while using it first time. But then I discovered that it’s not a problem at all. It’s one of the two options that you can use. Now let me first of all explain the problem.
Whenever you press the Windows + E keys to open File Explorer, you find that it opens “Quick access” window & not the “This PC” window.

Users who are more comfortable with keyboard shortcuts found it very annoying. But there is no need to worry. There is a very simple remedy to address this problem!!
      1. Go to “View” ribbon at top.

2. Go to “Options

       3. A “Folder Options” windows will open. Under “General” tab, change the “Open File Explorer to” from “Quick access” to “This PC”.

         4. Click “Apply” & then “OK”.

There you are done!!
Now, you press Windows + E, it will always open “This PC” window.
Enjoy!!!
